Can I find AOL customer service help online?

Getting AOL Live Help

If you need help but can still log on to AOL, there are live AOL help chat rooms staffed by trained support personnel available 24/7. AOL live help is often a much faster way of getting an answer to your question or problem than waiting on hold until an AOL customer service representative can take your call.

My computer had to be rescanned and now I can't even get into my credit union through aol but I can through Bell South. This is very frustrating maybe I should learn how to use Bell South and forget AOL.

I have started the AOL internet service for about a week. There was no problem until yesterday, but since then I have had a trouble in accessing internet. There is a message on my computer that "Connection Warning. Unable to communicate with the modem", although I did not change the setting at all. Sometimes (about once in ten times) I succeeded to connect with internet, but the speed is quite slow, and disconection occurred soon. I am embarrased with this situation. Please tell me how to resolve this problem. I am using Mac OS X with an internal modem.

On 12/17/6 I received an error message explaining that I could not obtain a DSL connection as I was attempting to log on to the internet THIS WAS VERY UNUSUAL Much to my dismay, I soon discovered that no technical service was available to me to correct this problem; I have very limited knowledge of the workings of my computer and cannot solve this problem myself. NOTE: There were no problems until something was changed at AOL without my knowledge or consent. In contrast, I did receive Tech support from Verizon but the root of the problem was ultimately with my AOL account. I find that this situation is most troubling from a consumer point of view and feel left out in the 'Lurch' by AOL. I hope this situation can be rectified in the near future or I will have no other option but to seek service from another outlet that values their customers needs and con cerns.

Thank you

Dan Coski

Live tech help is no help. Attempted nine back to back attempts and kept getting logged off. The time before, the tech attendent gave me the runaround by asking repeatedly what the problem was when it was given when signing on. Awful On Line.

Yesterday, when I clicked on the Switch Screen Name line of the Sign Off button, the box was normal and printed in American. Tonight, it suddenly changed (on its own?) to Mexican. I know I'm only 120 miles north of TJ, but this is still America. Though my wife speaks Spanish (better than the Mexicans) as well as Hungarian, she prefers American style English.

How the heck do I get the Switch Screen Name windo back into its proper language?

Obviously, from reading the above comments, AOL doesn't care whether or not customers get the help they need. I want to know why AOL charged me three times the amount I have owed each month for this past month. Am not able to get info from anyone except the recording. There must be no live help.Until now, I have been happy with AOL. Now I realize that they don't care about their customers. I do not have time to play on the phone with their little game. Very frustrating.

The present AOL program has many problems. Here are a few of them:
1. It takes forever to load the program
2. When using the program, it regularly freezes
3. News information is listed and when I click on the new item I wish to read or see, the program comes up with a blank page or the computer freezes.
4. It is difficult to get out of the AOL Program, sometimes, I cannot get it off the screen and have to turn-off the computer with it still on the screen.
5. Sometimes after I have closed the program it comes back on even as I use other programs on my computer.
6. When typing e-mail, if I notice that I have made an error and go back into the text to correct the error, trying to make the correction deletes letters and words that follow the error.

At this point, I am so frustrated with AOL that I am considering dropping it totally. The program does NOT work properly!
