Getting AOL Live Help
If you need help but can still log on to AOL, there are live AOL help chat rooms staffed by trained support personnel available 24/7. AOL live help is often a much faster way of getting an answer to your question or problem than waiting on hold until an AOL customer service representative can take your call.

I have started the AOL internet service for about a week. There was no problem until yesterday, but since then I have had a trouble in accessing internet. There is a message on my computer that "Connection Warning. Unable to communicate with the modem", although I did not change the setting at all. Sometimes (about once in ten times) I succeeded to connect with internet, but the speed is quite slow, and disconection occurred soon. I am embarrased with this situation. Please tell me how to resolve this problem. I am using Mac OS X with an internal modem.

On 12/17/6 I received an error message explaining that I could not obtain a DSL connection as I was attempting to log on to the internet THIS WAS VERY UNUSUAL Much to my dismay, I soon discovered that no technical service was available to me to correct this problem; I have very limited knowledge of the workings of my computer and cannot solve this problem myself. NOTE: There were no problems until something was changed at AOL without my knowledge or consent. In contrast, I did receive Tech support from Verizon but the root of the problem was ultimately with my AOL account. I find that this situation is most troubling from a consumer point of view and feel left out in the 'Lurch' by AOL. I hope this situation can be rectified in the near future or I will have no other option but to seek service from another outlet that values their customers needs and con cerns.
Thank you
