There are three different ways that one can cancel one or more of their AOL member accounts.
The first is via phone by calling 888-265-8008.
The second is via mail by sending a request to:
P.O. BOX 17100
Jacksonville, FL 32245-7100
The third is via fax by sending a request to 703-433-7283.
You will need to provide the full name, phone number, address and handwritten signature of the person who pays for the account, as well as one of the following:
- The master screen name.
- The last four digits of the current method of payment.
- The answer to the account security question of the master screen name.
PLEASE CANCEL MY AOL ACCOUNT I HAVENT USED IT IN A WHILE, IT WAS FREE LAST TIME I USED IT. THANKS DENISE JORDAN
I signed back up with aol about a month ago and since then I cannot sign on to AOL with my screen name. I can only get online as a guest. I have tried calling your phone # and got no help whatsoever. As a guest they tell me I can get no online help! I am very upset with aol over this. Please let me know what I can do. I am a paying member of AOL but cannot get signed on with the screen name I was using. I have a master screen name but see no where to type it in maybe this would help! Please help me, I am paying now for nothing! To AOL.
your customer service sucks! i tried to cancel my internet, but the customer service rep wouldn't let me cancle it. They Claimed that they couldn't get to my account because I didn't know my screen name! that is BS! don't ever use AOL!!!!
People need to watch out, AOL is the worst service I ever had and when I come to cancel they charge your account and then charge extra charges without letting you know.
